The founder of the independent production company Evolution Media (formerly Evolution Film & Tape, Inc.), Douglas Ross heads up the company's varied slate of reality programs. Currently, Ross is Executive Producer of Bravo's "Real Housewives of Orange County," MTV's "Yo Momma" starring Wilmer Valderrama, and Court TV's "Beach Patrol." Recent credits include Disney Channel's original movie, "Now You See It," ABC Family's teen reality strip "Switched!," TLC's "Clean Sweep" and "Ten Years Younger," TBS's reality comedy "He's a Lady," the Lowes/TBS-branded entertainment venture "House Rules", and Bravo's high profile gay romance series, "Boy Meets Boy."

Ross launched the first season of NBC's alternative series "Fear Factor," and the first season of CBS's "Big Brother." He is the creator and Executive Producer of Disney Channel's documentary series "Bug Juice" and "Movie Surfers" (now in it's tenth season). Ross is also the co-creator and Executive Producer for two other Disney Channel reality series, "Totally In Tune" and the critically acclaimed "Totally Hoops."

Ross also executive produced Bravo's docu-series "Gay Weddings," the comedy special "HBO Workspace" for HBO, Columbia-TriStar's syndicated series "The Three Stooges" and "Screen Gems Network," and InStyle Magazine's NBC special, "InStyle Celebrities at Home."

Ross began his television career working with documentary companies, serving as a line producer, segment producer and writer. Ross' early credits include the CINE award-winning documentary "Choosing Victory," about wheelchair athletes in the 1984 Summer Olympic Games, and ABC's "The Making of Captain EO," the network television introduction of the Michael Jackson 3-D experience at Disneyland.

Shortly after founding Evolution, Ross created, wrote and produced the interactive and dramatic children's educational series, "The House," in association with WGBH-TV (PBS) in Boston. He went on to create for numerous broadcast and cable networks a series of special projects featuring "real people" -- among them are PBS' Emmy Award-winning "Future Quest" and a CBS "Back to School" prime-time special, featuring documentary segments shot in high schools.

Through Evolution's industrial division, Ross has supervised production on numerous promo campaigns for ABC, TLC, FX, Lifetime and Comedy Central. Most recently, Ross co-created and Executive Produced "Share the Love" - an innovative new media project for American Express and JetBlue. He also supervised the development and production of several long-form projects, including the "The Declaration of Independence Road Trip" for Norman Lear, and "Total Immersion," a one-hour documentary special about Universal Studios' $3 billion theme park, Islands of Adventure.

GREGORY STEWART

Gregory Stewart joined Evolution Film & Tape, Inc. in 1990 to handle the company's management and financial needs as EF&T continued its expansion. Stewart had most recently spent four years at Richard Grant & Associates, a top entertainment P.R. firm, coordinating public relations activities for a variety of individual celebrities (including Joel Grey, Bob Saget, Joan Van Ark and Eric Idle), theatre and television series ("MacGYVER," "The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd"). But when the opportunity to join Evolution presented itself, Stewart jumped at the chance to try his hand at film/video production while having the practical opportunity to put his financial expertise to good use.

In addition to handling Evolution’s general business operations, Stewart oversees budgets and production cash flows for all its series, and works closely with the producers and Executive in Charge of Production to coordinate each show's operations with that of the company. He also occasionally writes and produces some of Industrial Evolution’s corporate and short-form productions.

Originally from Denver, Stewart moved to Los Angeles a couple of years after graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a B.S. in Finance. Stewart is active in several charitable organizations. He is on the board and serves as CFO for Hollywood Heart, an L.A.-based organization whose two-pronged mission provides camping and other recreational opportunities to youth affected or infected by HIV/AIDS, as well as reaching out to other at-risk Los Angeles youth with a variety of after school programming and educational opportunities.
